A cradled plywood panel is an ideal substrate for artists working in almost any medium. It may be used raw or prepared with traditional or modern gesso before painting. Its flat rigid surface is perfect for mounting artist paper, canvas, or photographs. Objects may be glued, screwed, or riveted on. 
Unlike solid wood, cradled plywood resists movement and will not warp or shrink over time.
